The Richmond Rail PAC, a neighborhood group which successfully lobbied to get light rail on Richmond release it's endorsments October 16, 2007 and co-endorsed Alfred Molison for Houston City Council District C in southwest Houston and Anne Clutterbuck.

The Harris County Council of Organizations, one of the oldest Black political groups in Houston, formed in 1949 also co-endoresed Alfred Molison for Houston City Council along with Robert Glaser.
